The Mississippi Alliance for Gaining New Opportunities through Information
Access is a statewide consortium funded by the Mississippi Legislature. It
provides online databases for publicly funded K-12 schools, public libraries,
community college libraries, and university libraries in Mississippi.
- MELO-Mississippi Electronic
Libraries On-Line - A virtual library developed to meet academic resource
needs of distance learning within the Mississippi community and junior
colleges. Offers access to online databases, electronic books and journals,
scholarly web sites, and member library web pages.
- Mississippi LAMP Workshop On-line
- Mississippi Library and Media Professionals help to promote and improve
library services in the state of Mississippi.

Association - Provides professional leadership for the development,
promotion, and improvement of library and information services and the
profession of librarianship in order to enhance learning and ensure access to
information for all.

Page - The Mississippi Library Commission is an independent state agency
which serves local public libraries, provides access to state and federal
documents and patent and trademark resources. Additionally we serve members of
the state legislature, state officials, state agencies and state employees,
librarians and library science students in Mississippi, and Mississippi
residents with visual or physical handicaps which prevent the reading of
conventional print.
